Assisting on the marketing of various international and UK artists gave her a valuable insight into the music industry and made her determined to become a freelance vocalist. Alongside her role, she solidified her presence as a function band vocalist with in-demand bands, whilst continuing to develop her own material.
In 2018, with countless compositions in tow, Abi assembled a five-piece powerhouse backing band comprised of Ben Pinkus, George Chapman, Tom Althorpe and Max Mills and launched herself into central London shows. Since landing in London, she has performed on stages at London's prestigious Jazz Cafe, Camden Assembly, Spice of Life, and The Bedford, to name a few.
